Happy New Year!

I really don't know how we're this far into January already! It feels like the holidays just happened a week ago, and I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things.

The one thing I've accomplished this month is making a lot of progress on my latest paranormal romance. It's called Fate, and it's the next book in my California Obscura Series

In this series, magic is almost extinct throughout the world, though some people carry remnants of their supernatural ancestors in their DNA. For example, someone who's always been drawn to water might be descended from mermaids, but now supernatural creatures are written off as myths.

In Fate, Mateo has just enough werewolf blood to bond with a fated mate, but not enough to ever actually shift into a werewolf. Not that Mateo wants a mate, or even likes the man he's bonded to.

I introduced Mateo in More Than This, which I released back in the fall of 2019. That book is currently on sale for 99 cents worldwide, and it's available on Kindle Unlimited if you'd like to check it out.

Here's a look at the cover for Fate, Mateo and Elias's story.

I wrote Fate to work as a stand-alone, though More Than This does provide some backstory. Here's a cute promo I made for More Than This, and yes, the bulldog does feature prominently in the story. :)

I don't have a release date yet for Fate, but I'm shooting for early February. I'll let you know when I get the exact date dialed in.

In the meantime, I hope your year is off to a good start!
